Terms of Sale

What you agree to when you buy a ShotWork license. Last updated 2026.

Who you are buying from

ShotWork is made and sold by Jarom Brand. Questions about these terms go to support@shotwork.tools.

Orders are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. That means Paddle is the seller on your receipt, handles payment and any sales tax or VAT, and can help with billing questions. Paddle's own terms apply to the transaction alongside these.

What the license gives you

A license unlocks four things in ShotWork: your own overlay templates, reel video at any size without the built-in mark, timeline export, and the AI assistant. The rest of the app is free and stays free.

One license covers every ShotWork 1.x release, on as many of your own computers as you like. A future 2.0 would be a separate purchase. There is no subscription and nothing expires.

The license is for you. You may not sell it, rent it, or share your key with other people. An institution license, which covers every computer at one location, is a different thing and is arranged by invoice.

How activation works

Your key is tied to the email address you bought it with, and both are needed to activate. ShotWork checks the key on your own machine and sends nothing anywhere. If you lose the key, ask us and we will send it again to the address it was issued to.

Refunds

Within 14 days of buying, ask and you get your money back. The details are on the refund policy page.

What we do not promise

ShotWork is sold as it is. We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise it is free of faults, that it will suit a particular purpose, or that it will run on every machine. Try the free version first: it is the same program, so you will know before you pay.

Keep your own backups of your footage and your work. We are not responsible for lost footage, lost work, lost time or lost income. If we are ever found liable for something despite this, that liability is limited to what you paid for the license.

If these terms change

We may update these terms for future sales. The terms you agreed to when you bought are the ones that apply to your purchase.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Tennessee, in the United States. If you bought as a consumer somewhere with stronger consumer protection, that protection still applies and nothing here takes it away.
